BRACHYCOME Augustifolia Blue
Also known as Swan River daisies which are native to the Swan River area in Australia. They were named in 1816 by Count Alexandrea Henri-Gabriel Cassini, who called the plant brachyscome, then changed the spelling in 1825 to Brachycome. The confusion over which spelling is correct lingers today, and both names are still used. Very popular for their low maintenance yet very free flowering habit. Very adaptable to most garden settings. Their cheerful daisy like blooms make them very popular.Highlights: Very free flowering, dainty blue flowers. Application: Excellent for containers, baskets etc or to fill a gap in the garden. Situation: For best results plant in a sunny, well drained situation. Care Height: Trim after flowering. Hardy.
