Hellebore Tutu (Lenten Rose)

Elegant, dusky pink to mauve flowers with ruffled centers and flecked petals are held above attractive, deep green, foliage with a tidy, clumping habit. Flowering from mid winter and into spring.

Highlights:

An orientalis variety. Evergreen. Winter flowering. Marbled foliage feature. Attractive to bees.

Application:

Great for pots, borders, edging, small or shady gardens, indoors, cut flowers, mass and underplanting trees or shrubs.

Situation:

Plant in well drained but moist soil in part to full shade. Will tolerate full sun but leaf edges will turn brown from increased heat.

Care & Height:

Height to 50cm and width to 60cm. Remove faded flowers to encourage new growth. Take care not to allow the plant to dry out. CAUTION: Harmful if ingested and a skin irritant.
