Penstemon Cherry (Beardtongues)

Delightfully vibrant, trumpet-shaped, cherry-red flowers with a striped red and white throat are held on tall stems above dark green, narrow, lance-shaped foliage that forms an upright bush. Flowering from spring through to autumn.

Highlights:

Evergreen. Free flowering. Semi-hardy. Attracts bees and butterflies.

Application:

Great for borders, containers, gardens, mass planting and cut flowers.

Situation:

Plant in well drained soil in a sunny, sheltered position.

Care & Height:

Height to 80cm and width to 60cm. Remove spent flower spike to encourage further flowering. Cut back hard after flowering. Protect from strong winds.
