CORDYLINE Australis [Cabbage Tree]

A multi-trunked, native tree with tufts of green, grass like foliage and sweetly scented flowers. Produces fruit from January-April and nectar for bees in November.

Highlights:

Evergreen. New Zealand native. Extremely hardy. Tolerates wind and frosts.

Application:

Great for revegetation, coastal gardens, areas with poor soil and in the garden.

Situation:

Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to part shade position.
