Cuphea Ignea (Cigarette Plant)

Small tubular, scarlet flowers with black and white tips are produced throughout the year on green, lance-shaped foliage with a densely brunched, spreading habit.

Highlights:

Evergreen. Long flowering period. Attracts bees and butterflies. Coastal, heat, dry and light frost tolerant once established.

Application:

Great for borders, edging, containers, rockeries and gardens.

Situation:

Plant in well drained, fertile soil in full sun.

Care & Height:

Height to 60cm and width to 60cm. Lightly trim occasionally to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Protect from heavy frosts.
